Fell over more than horizontal, is there a chance the cylinder(s) filled with fuel or oil? It's carbureted and after I righted the bike after about 20 minutes I didn't see anything leaking.. I also tried to bump start it by rolling down a hill and releasing the clutch in 2ns. I just succeeded is skidding tires. Pull a plug or ??

There's a tip over switch (bank angle sensor) in there.  Cycle the key a few times, after it's back up.

Power goes from fuse to bank angle sensor, to bank angle sensor relay, through kill switch to the starter button.

Thanks Jess, I didn't think my older Valkyrie would have it. I will give it a shot and post results.

If the engine wouldn’t turn over in a push start I would not try starting it with the spark plugs in. Just in case!

As Chrisj said. Pull all the spark plugs. Take bike outside and crank it over. If the cylinders are full of fuel, (hydro locked) you’ll get wet. Then replace plugs and try again.

Yep, hydrolocked. Cylinder #6 shot fluid like a geyser after I removed all the plugs cooldude and turned it over. I'd heard about it but fortunately never experienced it when I have laid the big boy over before. This time, it lay on it's side for more than 20 minutes while I got some help lifting it back up. It seems to run ok but I hope I didn't tweak the rod or piston trying to bump start. It just seemed like the starter was locked up. Thanks again for all the help.javascript:void(0);
