Rode the loop from Arlington, Oso, to Rockport, Burlington on Saturday morning. Me being from Mt Vernon its a close and convenient ride.  The road in good condition for the most part. Couple of rough spots but manageable. Traffic was mild which added to a nice 3 hour tour. Lots of other riders on V twins and tourer types. No other valks to be seen or heard. The good weather is here if you haven't dusted your monster lately.
Hope to see you out there.

Any pictures? Sounds like a nice trip.

I don't like your dog name options. My nephew married a woman named Cassidy, and their son's named Cooper.  Cool

A thought - for the group (maybe could catch on if not already done). On two other forums I'm active on, the regional groups have a sticky for posting of rides/trails so that there's a collection of places to go for the region. A great resource for new members and peoples new to the area. Maybe a thought to start on our regional page and could be carried to others? thought would be to just include the following info:

Route name:
Distance:
Time:
Notes:
Google Maps Snip (take a screen shot or link the route from google/bing/whatever map service you want to use)

I found it SUPER helpful while we were moving around regularly from project to project when I was still in the field so I could make sure to get the best rides in before we had to leave.

anyways - just a thought

btw - follow up to the ride - did this a week ago and a great ride (despite it being a bit foggy/cloudy). I'd recommend any who haven't done this little loop - well worth it.

As well - found out that the grip tape I used needed another layer as my throttle grip started sliding a bit. Added 2 more layers (super snug now) - next step if this doesn't work, get out the gorilla... Grin
