Made it home. Had a bit of trouble on the way home. Had the fuel pump go out on my belly tank in Indianapolis.  Dreyer Honda will not work on bikes older than 10 years. Considering I only needed the fuel tank reconnected in the original configuration. No other shop could get to me before Wednesday. No one cared I was on the road. I made it to a motel off the highway. I was fortunate enough to be in walking distance to a NAPA parts store. It is possible to reconfigure to the original fuel setup with the tool kit from the bike, in a motel parking lot, with a few things from NAPA. Left Indy a bit after noon on Sunday made it to Hannibal before the storm. Got to the house at 3:05 Monday afternoon. Final repairs pending.

He's 96 and he had a great time.  He was a bit overwhelmed by the attention, but he's looking forward to going to another one.  After he's had some time to rest up.

lost a rear wheel bearing  in east texas nursed the bike and rode it to H and W Honda Marshall Texas I  heard none of the we dont work on old bikes it was on a lift and being worked on in less than 5 minutes they didnt have the part but  they were able to match up the part with a bearing service in town. Back on the road in 4 hours now thats the kind of dealership that deserves to prosper.  And all for a reasonable price a big thank you to H and W Honda Marshall, Texas.
