I appreciate all you guys giving me info and links on alternators/ and replacement..got a wing alternator from Honda for my standard, clocked it (thanks for that info) and removed and replaced it without too much trouble..     Smiley

I don't remember exactly, but very close to $500.. still it was $180. less than a val alternator.. just clocked it and took off the capacitor
if you don't mind me asking, how much was the GW alternator?

alternator from dealer cost $487.33, 4 rubber dampers cost $24.04 with tax total wa $549.92
