I've always been fond of the original T bags.
Bought them 20 years ago and they are still with me and the bike.
What's new in motorcycle luggage?
Need to equip a couple new bikes.
Thanks.

I have two ugly Givi top-cases, a big one and a smaller one.
They're really good quality and waterproof.

The mechanism by which they clip to the bike makes them
on/off in seconds. They go into the motel like luggage. They're
off the bike most of the time...

Although I have a T Bag, it rarely gets used.   Since I put a hitch on my Valkyrie, I find it easier to just throw bags into the trailer and head out.   Have been using that trailer behind my Valkyrie Trike a lot recently, don't even know it's back there.   Not for everyone, that's for sure but, I prefer traveling with the bike naked (not me, discovered that's distracting to other drivers)  Wink

When I was Still doing the long distance riding and Before I bought the trailer for Phatt Ghurl I used and Still have my wally wurld stuff bag. Think Military Sea Bag or Barracks Bag I believe. And plus plus-loaded Properly It IS Highly Water resistant. Couple 1" ratchet straps holds it to the passenger seat. And the one I have do Not block the mirrors. My Current Oxygen Needs make a trailer now indaspensible. The Military-in my case The Navy-Really teaches you How to pack.  cooldude Amongst other "things"!  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

There's OE style hardbags that stay on the bike, there's aftermarket saddlebags (mostly soft) which stay on the bike, and there's all kinds of bags that get strapped on for particular purposes and then removed.

I have a neighbor that rides wearing a back pack every day.  I wouldn't.

This is a small company (hubby/wife) who make some great bags. Waterproof and very rugged. I met them at Americade in 2011.
