Just wanted to say hello! I'm Elijah, new rider and new (to me) Valk owner. Picked up my 2000 Tourer with 83k miles in early May. I absolutely love this bike!
I have interacted with the community a little bit on Facebook and am blown away by how welcoming everyone has been so far.
Hope to see you all on the road!

Welcome aboard. Elijah!!! Keep an eye on this page and on FB "Valkyrie Riders of Florida" for planned rides. This time of year most of our rides leave EARLY in the morning, and we ride somewhere for Breakfast, and everybody goes home. Most popular Meeting spots are the Speedway Station at the Corner of SR 50 and Spring Lake Highway in Brooksville and sometimes the Park in San Antonio, or the Sunoco Station in Tarrytown, at the Jct of SR 50 and SR471.

Welcome from the east coast (Ormond beach). I try and get over that way and ride a few times a year. Sometimes they ride over this way. Great bunch of knowledgeable guys here. Enjoy the new bike, I’m sure we’ll meet up soon.

In Carrollwood, near Gunn Highway and Linebaugh. I’ve made it out to the Bay Area Riders meetup ar Tampa Joe’s a couple times. First time, two older guys (one with a Goldwing) basically swooped in and started to check her out. Was a great feeling. |

Can’t believe I forgot to post the photo! I did remove the black paint and mostly restored the headlamp bucket back to being shiny (it’s fairly pitted but I’m ok with it for now). Need to get decent saddlebags. It came with the Tourer frame but some cheap throw over bags for now. Debating selling the frame since the OEM bags are so expensive.
