John's Pass connects the Intracoastal Waterway to the Gulf of Mexico and was created by a Hurricane in the 1800's. The first to travel the pass was a Pirate by the name of John...hence the name John's Pass and the Pirate theme shops.

Great pics., thanks.
You have your Valk set up nice, looks comfy.

Why this bike didn't sell better is beyond me.
I sure wish Honda didn't give up so easily on it's rebirth. Two years, sheesh. Roll Eyes

Nice pics, and thanks.   cooldude

Looks like you're the only one alive down there.   Grin

That, or FL people all sleep in.

I'm just heading out for a ride.  This may be the last 60-70s weather until next fall.

Unfortunately there's lots of people out there.... but fortunately, a few of them know how to drive.

st2sam,
I'm with you, Honda gave up too early on this bike. Yes, it's comfortable now after three shields and three seats. I'm eyeballing the later model F6B Deluxe now. uglystupid2 I'm very picky and see only two for sale Nation wide that peek my interest although too far to travel.

Jess from VA,
I think most use other platforms now. Three Facebook sites, MeWe as well as other motorcycle forums, GL1800, F6B and F6C. Many have moved on to other bikes but still meet/ride in smaller groups. I think most pop in here but not as active as it once was. Hopefully we can change that.

Enjoy your ride cooldude

Doug, what I meant by you being the only one alive, is that there are no other people in any of your pictures.  So they must all be home sleeping.

Yeah, that was a solo ride. I left before sun up trying to get a sunrise from the drawbridge. It was Fathers day and I wanted to talk with my Dad at Sunup. (He passed earlier this year) Reminds me of when we used to hunt together and watch the sunrise. Nice morning to be alone.

smitten Love the pic's. I love being up before everyone else and on the road. Up my way it's a Sat. or Sunday morning early being the best time. Everyone is sleeping in from the early work week. coolsmiley
