«

Anyone have a solution/idea for an articulating hitch and or ball that will work on the year 2000 1500 I/S?
Hard to ascertain what I actually need.
TIA!

The easiest ways to get articulation for a trailer connection is either done with:
A pivoting trailer ball:

A swivel hitch for the trailer tongue:

Alternately, you can convert to a full Heim joint style connection with a kit like this:

or a custom made setup.
This guy made one with parts from Tractor Supply:

I have a non receiver hitch on the bike. It’s just a ball hitch. So I put a swivel joint on the tongue of the trailer and I love it. I can lean all I want now.
