I have done several but think I made a mistake. (do not work when not feeling up to par).
I serviced a Valk that I had put off for quite a while. I think I put the shutoff together wrong.
Bike runs and shuts off like a vacuum problem. Open fuel cap , no real difference. A couple minutes it will start and run again.  In my mind I I did something wrong with the petcock. It will idle for 15 minutes but shuts down at highway speed.  Asking for a picture of assembly of petcock. I thought I had one.
It is the only thing I touched in the fuel system.

Also there is a pic in this shoptalk article: http://www.valkyrieriders.com/shoptalk/petcock.htm

I'm sure you will figure it out. Good luck.

You can also go manual, but an electric fuel shutoff is highly recommended if you do.  Better than the OEM vacuum setup IMHO.

Easy method here:

(see page 5)

There's a fellow who posts some good assembly order pictures
into posts like this, hopefully he'll chime in...

This picture I found in my stash would help to get some of the
parts in the right order and orientation...

I like this shop talk article...

It was my screw up. I didn't have it properly seated. I drove to his home and redid the mistook.  crazy2
I have done many , but it was my mistake.
