I have been trying to connect LED accent lights, but am having trouble locating a switched power source.
Any pics or diagrams anyone could share?

Switched power source usually is referring to ac to dc switching power supply.  If connecting to a 12V system like an auto or bike that's not needed.

I think he means a power source that is energized with the key. There is an accessory circuit under the right side panel. It is only 5 amp though. If your led’s need more than that you can use it as a trigger with a relay.

he means a key-on wire that only has electricity when the key in the ON position.

Under right side cover, there's an empty +12 ACC plug (arrow) under the rubber boot X. The secondary plug is Ground. Like said, only 5amps.

Chuckman, can you post a pic of the same section?
