Joe Humphrey, Mary Jo's husband is organizing a celebration of life for Mary Jo who passed away following an accident while they were attending Inzane in Ohio.  This will take place Saturday, August 28, 2021 in Valparaiso, Indiana.  We will gather at Joe's house in Valparaiso at 9am and depart from there at 9:30am.    Joe has planned a 2 hour ride and will have Mary Jo's ashes with him to scatter along the way.  The ride will end up back at his house where there will be food and beverages available for all who attend.  I am working with a local hotel in Valparaiso to get a block of rooms at a discounted rate for those who will be coming in for this.

Joe and his family are very appreciative of all of the love, support and prayers they have received from the Valkyrie community.  I would love to see a large turnout from our group be in attendance to again show our love and support to Joe and his family.  You can come on your bike or in a car!  All are welcome!

If you plan on attending, please let me know, as we need to get an approximate count so we know ho much food is needed.  You can send me a private message or email me at motomama.vrcc@gmail.com

I will post hotel information in the next few days.

They were riding by themselves.  There was apparently a problem with a shift or the shifter; Joe was distracted and went off the road.  Mary Jo was thrown off, striking her head in a bad way; she also suffered a heart attack at some point.  It was a bit of a fluke, since Joe wasn't injured and there was very little damage to the bike.

Oh, that poor, poor man.
God bless him.
Be careful everyone
