cost me a 6 pack of beer and some other "consumables" to get my car off the beach as the tide was coming in one year
a millenium ago

It was a 67 dart with the 273 v8    Had studded snow tires that did not work on the soft sand   coolsmiley

It was a fun day anyways   cooldude as making friends on the beach is always fun

I remember seeing that picture some years ago Mike.  How did he survive wearing that cap?  Seems like you were showing the color schemes comparison.

I don't know how he survived, or how he even kept it on.
They hadn't invented backwards hats yet then I don't
believe  Wink ...

I scanned in a bunch of slides 15 years ago or so... I posted
many of them that involved "Daddy on a motorcycle" here.

Here's one, I re-found it only recently after looking for a while:



No motorcycle, rather our 56(?) Buick Special, Uncle Bob, my
sister, mother and me at a country grocery around 1960. I think
this could be a Norman Rockwell painting...
