Could you guys up north please take care of those wildfires.  I love smoked fish but right now everything tastes like it's smoked.

By the news accounts we may have undocumented fire crossing our northern boarder.

Ya, I know how it feels...a few years ago when we had a good Summer without a lot of fires of our own, we were covered in smoke from Montana and Central WA wildfires. Like they say...whichever way the wind blows....

Thankfully my area of BC has been free of the smoke from the fires in other regions this Province to date . I would be perfectly fine though, to do the next month of my riding and other Summer activities in wet weather, if it meant that those regions could get a healthy dose of rain for a few weeks.

Hey MSB, we could send you some of our smoke for the Bootleg fire (413K acres) about 40 miles to the east of us or the Dixie fire down in Northern CA (240K ac).   We have more than we need.

Not fun riding in the smoke nor the heat we have been having.  I know 95 degree temps are not hot for some folks but for us it is.

Apparently we're supposed to be getting a whiff over the next couple of days, but from the Central Cariboo region of BC North of us. That means winds from the North, not South so I guess you get to keep all your smoke for the time being  Undecided
We've been very lucky here to date...other than than the little bit too hot temps. It's been clear every day this Summer so far in my region. I was just telling the Mrs yesterday though, I'd be perfectly happy spending the rest of the Summer riding, flyfishing, and swimming at my local lakes and rivers in wetter, cooler weather...if it meant those who are putting up with excessive smoke or are in danger from fires could get some relief.
