Hi all, I have not used my OEM radio for 10 years, since when I went for a 4 days-trip with a Goldwing friend. No issues at all at the time. Haven't use the Valkyrie much either in the past 10 year, perhaps 8K miles during this time. Anyway, while I managed to replace the tires and other maintenance work in the last few weeks, I decided to test the CB radio as well. It does not even turn on. When i select the inputs from the handlebar panel it keep switching between the AUX and the regular radio. The audio system doesn't even recognize that there is a CB radio installed, as it used to do always. I'm not going to need it anyway, but I would like it to be working just in case I may sell the bike. I realize that not many riders have an I/S and even less would have an Honda OEM CB radio installed on the bike, but I thought to take the chance and ask. For the Valkyrie audio system it appears that the CB is not even installed. But when I just turn the ignition  for a moment I see the CB option on the panel, before starting the engine. This CB has done a good work for me when I went across country many years ago with my previous Valkyrie. The regular radio and auxiliary input for mp3 music are working fine. If anyone have had similar experience and an easy fix solution i would appreciate their inputs. Thank you for reading this.

Check the control line connection running from the CB unit to the bike's stereo unit. There's a 13p plug that ties the CB to the stereo, and odds are it's become intermittent.

Access is under the seat. The connectors in question will be obvious. Unplug and plug back in several times, then try to access the CB.

Also check the CB's power connection and fuse.

Thank you, I'll check them out tomorrow. Clearly something is disconnected somewhere for the bike's Audio System not to recognize that there is a CB installed.

CB is fine now, just moved ( no disconnected ) the radio plug under the seat and just moved the connectors under the side panels and the CB came alive again. Tested it out with a coincidental by-passer and it worked fine. I'm not sure i will use it again, but thank you for your reply.
