My Redeemer Is Faithful And True

Woke up this morning with this song in my heart. Things have slowed a bit from the usual crazy pace and as I was sitting there I just started to thank Him for all the things He has done.

I look back and reflect on the love, patience and Grace He has given and continues to give. I never thought a this could be like this.

I was sitting in the barber shop a month or ago and picked up a high grade magazine, heavy paper with a high gloss finish. I’m turns out it was full of very high end homes from all over the country. Impressive architecture of varying styles and immense size. I remember none being under $3 mil and many were over $10 mil. It wasn’t just the structures, the settings and landscapes were in some cases breathtaking.

As I flipped through the pages, wondering what just the taxes and upkeep would be, knowing even more that would be out of my reach, I thought to myself, some people are trying to have heaven here on earth. A lofty goal even for people with enormous amounts of money.  Then I considered the home that awaits the followers of Jesus that has been promised and I can’t even imagine what that will be like. Gods grace would be sufficient and has blessed me for my entire  life.

About 25 years ago I lost everything, When my wife and I went out we had to share one meal, once a week and it was usually after church. Today I can say that God has blessed me abundantly and I am in a better position now with His blessing.

Its a totally different way. At first its hard to comprehend and understand.

The bible says

Pro 10:22  The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.

There are right ways to be rich and there are wrong ways. But its always a blessing with the Lords way.
