Just finished rebuilding the carbs on the old bike and would like to install new fuel lines from the petcock on down. Since I'm lazy and don't want to look it up, does someone have the size I can use from NAPA or similar source? The lines on there now are hard as a rock which I feel makes them prone to cracking.

5/16 works good. Technically I think they are 8mm.

I think they're metric. I took a hunk of the old stuff down to Advance Auto Parts
and asked them to "give me more of this".

I don't know if they gave me some standard sized line or what, but it works great
and has lasted several years...

I'm talking about all the lines, vacuum or otherwise, on the carbs, not the giant
one that hooks to the petcock...

some of the vacuum and vent loines are 4.5 mm ID, and others are 3.2mm ID, nitrile for any fuel related lines

Jack, I just took the T with me, removed all doubt that way. Took the same size for all areas of attachment...both at the T and on the carb rail. Also replaced those wire type clamps with screw type hose clamps...SS to boot.

Glad it worked out John  cooldude
problem sometimes is that the fuel rails connection seems to be a little too tight and the fuel rail o-rings sometimes leak from the force of trying to get the hose to fit.
