Luke
Melbourne Australia here 2001 valkyrie interstate I am in the process of pulling the top box off and i want to get a sissy bar
Doesn’t any one know if the VTX models fit ? They are more readily available

Yes but i consider that the whole arrangement
There are a couple of Valkyrie bars on USA eBay Postage is a bit .,.,.,, whoa
There are a lot of VTX sets on Australian eBay
I figured i would tap in to the KB here on it
I know taht all manufacturers keep some parts coming so hoping for A happy ending here

Thanks chris What i can not see, is how the sissy bar wings mount Any information on this would be helpful I am thinking an after market VTX 1800 bar looks very similar to the trunk rails Luke

Your Interstate fender rails cannot accept those wings for the sissy bar. You will need rails from a standard or tourer.

I believe _sheffjs_ had talked about a model sissy bar that would bolt up to the interstate’s fender rails. No other mod needed. I can’t remember the model of bike it was made for. I’ll try to find out or you can pm him.
