Spinner Light?????

Ha anyone used the Spinner LED replacement taillight bulb you see on Ebay. I am tempted to get one and just looking to see if they are what they claim.

Any advice or thoughts appreciated.

Yes, I was looking for more visibility, but just read the review on Rattlebars about them..... will not be purchasing. Will look to add additional LED lights to add to the rear of the bike.

Any suggestions? Already gone SV and added standard taillight.

Plan to ride most of the time with the trunk off.

I think one of the easiest effective ways to add good light to the back of an SV is to get one of the available license plate frames with run/brake leds.  I believe the one on my SV is Back-Off, single row on the bottom.  Then, get a controller for the rear signals to make them run/turn/brake and get red lenses (or paint your OE lenses) (this converts the existing single filament 1156 bulbs, so no need to get a set of the the front turn signals to replace the rears).  This setup gives me 4 running and brake lights.

Another thing to do is get the Clear Alternatives led circuit board to replace the standard valk taillight 1157 bulb.

Replace your bulb with this 128 LED run/brake adapter.   Needs a very small piece trimmed off to get it to seat.

This is mine with the brake light on, in a lighted garage and it still throws a very noticeable light on the tractor seat.

Ya pay a tad more, but it has lifetime warranty......   Save your receipt.

Click on Honda, should be the 1st one to pop up.   The little tab on the bottom needs trimmed like a 1/16.

A 3496 bulb will give you a brake light that is three times brighter than a 1157. Running light is the same as 1157 so no damage to lens from heat.

Those spinners suck.  They are dimmer than OEM.  Also, everytime I glance up and see it on the bike ahead, it flashes on, and I think the brakes are being applied.  Not good.

the rear is really bright and the turns are great too the whole back of the bike lights up the Electrical connection lights are ok just these are nicer and brighter with clear lens they really grab your attention.

For about 20 bucks I added extra LED light to braking. From a place here in Florida called 75 Chrome Shop which sells chrome accents for semi trucks. On the license plate holder Honda put two reflectors they are bolted on. I replaced them with LED marker lights and wired in to brake lights. Sorry I don't have a night pic, but these seem to pop out and grab your eye. They are unlit till the brake is hit.

R.J., the lights that Stude31 has are super bright LED's that he mounted underneath his license plate and can be programed to pulse, alternate, or come on steady.  Every light on the back of my I/S is LED except the turn signals and they were at one time, until I was told repeatedly that the orange did not show up very well in the daylight.  Then I went with Kury lenses and 3496 bulbs on all the turn signals.  I also put a standard tail light on it with the 100+ LED's in it.  All this and still got hit from behind in Ft. Worth.....Just go figure?????????...JTL

The guy in the video still has the stock brake light lense (red), but I opted for the clear lense. Looks great and is incredibly functional.
