What a PITA that was...small plastic things are not meant for big hands & fingers. I'm converting my old bike back to HD controls for my friend Carman Allen that has done all the hand tooling of my leather seats and backrests. The passenger seat/backrest is to be delivered tomorrow so I plan to install it on the trike while waiting for parts for the old bike. He has ordered a 1.25" Chubby handlebar from Wild1 and having it delivered here, I'm at a standstill until it arrives but I have all the wiring laid out for the change over. While waiting, I noticed the labeling on the switches were rubbed off from my use over the last 15 or more years so I ordered the new caps. When done with the change over, it will have two turn signal buttons...one for each side plus I'm wiring in a module that has self-cancelling turns of 3 different timing periods, turn signal timing interruption when the brake is on, and 4-way flashers.

Next project while waiting will be to replace all the brake and clutch lines with new SS items but having trouble finding just what I need/want. I'm not interested in running two lines from the front brake master cylinder, I think it looks tacky & not necessary. Wish I was still near a J&P Cycle outlet like the one in the Daytona area, I could go in there and in 30 minutes have a complete set up. Maybe it's time for a road trip to their Iowa facility. Hmmm...  Wink
