Ride safe, enjoy the time with family and friends and it’s hard to believe another summer has come and gone.
My youngest starts her senior year of college on Tuesday.
The Stones song “Time is on my side” seems further from the truth these days and “Time in a bottle” by Jim Croce seems more realistic.
Peace…

For those trying to dry out, take a few minutes to remember that your are alive and rejoice in that.
For me I am staying in doors, temps are great but smoke is rather bad.

The holiday that rings truest to my family, coming from a blue collar background and punching a time clock for most of my working career and jobs.
The working person is the backbone of this country. It's the labors of the middle and lower classes that have funded this enterprise since it's conception. They are not shown the appreciation and gratitude by that 1% or the politicians that reside within the elite. Most persons who find self-satisfaction in their labors don't require praise from on high to know their true worth.
