I’ve been able to hang with some family this week. It seems more important to me as time goes on. My favorite nephew and his family has been in town. When we get together fun always ensues. We have shared a few beers and good times over the years. He’s a good kid who has done good. There were down here getting his daughter settled into Grand Canyon University. My MIL refers to us as “boozers”.

Good point on family, but we're the pics necessary?

Rob,

Ya know, I think I see a family resemblance! Yep, families are great... important, too... Ordinarily I'd say something like, 'enjoy' or 'have fun' but I can see that isn't necessary...   cooldude

Family gatherings are great.......... You need to make time as you never know what the future will bring

3 weeks in strict lockdown so far has our plans on hold.

..........Delta made an appearance but numbers are dropping now so will catch up again soon.

Rob,

I thought of that post and pic the other day, as we turned into a little store out in the middle of nowhere for a break. There was a sign out front that proclaimed a rather to the point truism that says much: "Families are like pecan pie... It's the sweet stuff that holds the nuts together..." Keep on celebrating kinship and love... they're among the most valuable treasures we'll ever have!
