there is an issue with the delaware dam in the way upstate reservoir region and combined with the local storm runoff if makes for a powerful display at croton dam

If the idiots in NYS can get to find their a$$ with two hands and a shovel we could be making lots of electricity  Instead nothing at all   Nice park ranger let me in without paying so I could get this pic and a video

But it is a great day to be out and riding in ny nevertheless

Asked a tall friend to post the waterfall video   ......  hope it shows up soon

Sounds like they're finally going to install hydro generators at the Taylor Reservoir here.  Estimated to power 350-500 residences.  That might almost cover the recent growth.    Undecided   Lips Sealed

Hydro seems a win-win situation to me.  Especially since other states keep demanding more and more of our water.   We might as well get some benefit out of it before sending it on downstream.

The water isn't green is it ? There are those that can only think wind and sun right now, they can't expend that many brain cells. They don't have many and need the few that they have.

After-al, it appears to them that trucks and trains are the best way to transport oil. They are apparently better for the climate than a buried pipe. Great minds and all that.

Hijack thread.

Oss this number can't be correct? Even when it's a confirmed number.
