Ok, ok.... contract is signed.  It is in fact Billings, MT!!  smitten

Of course Serk guessed first from the Axe throwing pic (in a PM).
His cohort Disco was hot on his heels (in a text).
It was first mentioned the board by Oss, asking if anyone had guessed Billings.
Valkorado registered the first public guess.
He was followed by John Schmidt, Ken aka Oil Burner.
97BLKVALK and RNFWP kind of put the nail axe in the coffin.

Awesome! Beartooth should be open.

Great location for an epic event!

I pegged it by comparing the axe slinging sites for each location.  While similar, the only one that had the unique rust colored stain on their cage frames was the Billings OX Axe Throwing site.

REALLY hoping this will come together for me, such an awesome location.  I'm back to one functioning bike again, the Bullet is acting like carb work could be called for.  Definitely not my forté and with winter coming on fast (and three cords of wood to prep and stack plus a wood splitter and snowblower needing maintenance and a chimney needing sweeping on my immediate list), those carbs might get worse before they can get some attention.

It may be open but dont trust it. My worst experience on a bike ever was on that highway. I got to experience it with my wife, brother,my buddy Lothair and his wife Dawn.

Awesome, for me this is kind of full circle type event. I bought my Valkyrie in 2016 and knew nothing of what I had just done. I didn't know about the VRCC or Inzane. Even though I did register in 2016 with the VRCC the first Inzane I heard of was Billings. I didn't trust me or my bike enough to make that run. Up until then I had never ridden out of Ohio and eastern Pa. I have been to each Inzane since and if we could find a rode there I would attend on the moon. I need to find somewhere to practice ax throwing I guess. If the Drs. can keep this cancer in check I will see you in June.  A huge thank you to the staff here, it amazes me the smoothness that these events are pulled off. I can't imagine the hours, days and weeks that are invested in making it enjoyable for everyone.

We love the choice and are looking forward to it.  Won't make the mistake of taking most of our vacation before InZane and then heading home like we did in 2017.  Missed out on riding the whole "Road to the Sun" in Glacier.  It opened a couple days after we headed home from Billings.  Will start our vacation with InZane have a couple weeks after to ride around some more.  Thanks to the Staff for all your hard work.

Nice work, Seth.  I was hoping for Montrose and locked in on Grand Junction after the number 2 on one of the throwing targets at a place in GJ was identical to one that was in the clue pics.  They must have bought the targets from the same place Billings did.  At least, that's what I'm telling myself.

Wow...that's over 1100 miles one way. Are you sure these bikes can go that far without some kind of mechancal issue?  2funny

Where was "the beach" located? Huh?  Inquiring minds want to know.

Locals refer to the Rimrocks as "The Beach"...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rimrocks

(And I totally missed that reference until after figuring out it was Billings, which is doubly bad since I'd ridden up there, even flew my drone around off the Rimrocks in 2017!)

Serk is correct.  The Billings rep was driving us around, telling us about the area.  At the Rimrocks, she told us locals call it "The Beach" and told us stories about it.  I'm not sure who said that would be a great clue, but we all cracked up, and the clue was posted.
