I hate this stuff.

Just trying to register and put in the Valkyrie.

Doesn't believe my address, just city and state.

Then demands a picture but won't allow one.

Doesn't like the description because apparently Honda never made Valkyrie's.

Whatever happen to nice simple stuff like swap sheets.

yikes, that is not good.  I do not have a facebook account so used my wife's account to post a vehicle 1st time ever trying to sell an item on marketplace.  My kid sells, and buys, all kinds of stuff on marketplace.  So far past 1 week I have not gotten a call since told in description to contact me at my cell phone number even though name is under my wife's name.  I wonder since my wife has never sold, etc. anything on facebook marketplace nor not done much of anything on there,   is the reason for NO calls?  Shows about 50 or so seeing the ad though but no calls.  Price is below 90% of all other similar vehicles and even added pics from my PC not an issue.

Everyone seems to think Marketplace is great.

That motorcycle and old Ford will sit in the barn and rot or maybe I'll just take them to the auction.

At least I seem to have the computer back running and the scammers have stopped.

Counterpoint. Most of my transactions have been good although listing items and making changes seems to be more difficult than necessary.

I peruse marketplace almost daily. Today I scored an excellent buy. Bought a new 800 lb rated transmission jack for $80.00, a Harbor Freight Pittsburg model that sells in the store for $184.99. I had no immediate need but at some point I’m going to have to drop a the transaxle/differential in the Corvette and have been assured by those who have done it that a transmission jack is essential.

A lot of folks like it and use it all the time. I know I'm doing something stupid, probably over thinking. But, I'm almost over being mad at it. But I'll still sit them out. Computers drive me crazy. I'm surprised I can do this forum.

Transmitter jack ? Yep, good thing to have. They work on a lot more that just transmitters.  It'll earn its keep. Since I'm trying to downsize to move, I gave one away.

I’ve not seen a Facebook Marketplace ad that showed the seller’s phone number. Facebook blocks it.
