Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

Broussard, Louisiana

« on: January 11, 2010, 04:44:15 PM »

I got home late Saturday evening.  Left out of Angola on Wednesday about 10pm and flew into London arriving around 7am on Thursday.  We had to sit on the tarmac for over 2 hours because they were cancelling so many flights, because of the snow and ice, there was no jetway for us to pull up to.  Guess that I should have known that things might not be good when I cleared immagration and these were the unclaimed bags that had been pulled from the turnstiles.

Went and checked out The Natural History Musuem again, the Victoria and Albert Musuem again and went inside Harrod's to see if I could pick something up for Red - YIKES!  The stuff in there is not meant for a biker's paycheck!  Kind of like a Neiman-Marcus I guess.  They even had mink coats for dogs!  I then went and checked out the National Gallery and it blew me away!!!  I got to see my first Van Gogh and my first Monet - like I said, THEY BLEW MY MIND!!!!

Got up on Friday and went to the airport at 5:30 for a 10:00 am flight and found out my flight had been cancelled.  So, rebooked for Saturday and back to the National Gallery to see the Van GOgh and the Monet again.

Got out on Saturday and back home Saturday evening - safe and sound.  WIll be home for a couple of weeks and then leaving out to Dubai for a guest instructor gig for a couple of weeks.  Should be cool.  Never been there before.

Anyway, back in the house and got Nutdog to tell me Merry Christmas and Happy New Years when I got back!!!!

THings that make life worthwhile.....

Anywho, I am back in the house - safe and sound after leaving for Africa last year. Grin

Rhonda - I hear ya sister!!!  These are the two "rescue" critters in front of the >40 lb Jack Russell Terrorist......

Fur Critter love - ya gotta love it!!!!!!  Poor Sadie, the brown girl, is on cortosone, so she is retaining fluids right now and about twice the size she should be.....

And when a >40 lb JRT (Jack Russell Terrorist) want to give love.....

Warren, set down and tell us about this new O'Bam Bam security ya have to go through, you know, the nekkid stuff........

I thought I would laugh my butt off a few days back.

O'Bam Bam came up with the "Buck stops here."

1st time I heard that was when Truman was President and I was in Korea, doing my time. Evil

You know they say to find out who likes you more. Your wife or your dog. Lock them both in your trunk for an hour. When you open it up it will be clear who it is.  tickedoff
