I'm gonna try... This year might be a bit more of a stretch for me than the last few, but I'm gonna try...

(It'll also be my first repeat location, since the first Billings was my first ever Inzane!)

I should be there in time for the early bird. I’ll leave at the end and meander around the Northwest for a couple weeks. All based on Kim’s condition by then.

Oh, forgot to add...that's just to get out of Florida. Grin  I'll never forget the first time my wife and I drove to Louisiana to visit my daughter for T'giving. Seemed like it took forever on I-10 just to get out of Fla. So, the following year we reserved the flying club's C-172 for T'giving week and flew ourselves out there. I just followed I-10 throught the panhandle and it still seemed to take forever. From Naples, once you get out of the state you almost feel like you're halfway there.  Wink

Sounds like there are going to be quite a few meanderers after InZane.

Praying for Kim.

Man O Man, I was locked in on Colorado Springs, CO….
Was so confident that I was entertaining the idea of entering a rodeo at the same time frame.   Oh well, Team Roping will just have to go on without me.   The  Bronc riding would have been fun to.
Maybe next time.

One can literally rodeo one's saddle seat off up in Montana; no drugstore cowboys and cowgirls live there.
Take a ride up to Big Timber in Sweet Grass County (about 80 miles west of Billings) if you want to see the real deal.

Colorado Springs?  Plenty of shootouts like the old west, but they use semi-autos from cars these days instead of single action 45's. police

John it's 10+ hours from Naples to Pensacola assuming you stop for gas and food at some point. Add about 4 more hours it you start in Key West.

Holy cow ! Just over 1000 miles one way. Up I-29 to N Lawrence SD, through Rapid City and onto Billings on I-90. Might be easier to put a hitch on a car and rent a trailer.

Just 1350 miles one way for me if I take the most direct route, closer to 1600 for the route I'll likely take if I'm able to make it...

(Can't go through Colorado and NOT go to the top of Mt. Evans and at least a quick run through Rocky Mountain National Park!)
