I view classifieds daily and see very little "sold" posting. That leads me to think that Valk`ers are pricing their "stuff" too high or not posting when sold. The Classifieds on other Forums do well in getting members good prices / values on items for their Bikes. I posted a "free to VRCC riders" some time back and that went over like the "turd in the Punch Bowl". Seems like we can`t even give away "stuff" for our Valkyrie`s ,and can not even sell to our Members. I gave away several items on "free to VRCC" and felt good about giving something away that I had no use for , that someone could use. Do we as Valkyrie owners love our bike`s so much that we want to take all the "items" to our grave with us ? What am I missing ?? I`m sure that R.J. might enlighten me. Love you man ! I have no ideal how or why I got on this, may because it is 20 degrees and snowing a little and I`ve had two Bloody Mary`s already. Damn, I need to RIDE.

Just last week I went to the classifieds to find a Valk for a friend of mine. Too many over priced in my opinion and I based that on what I paid for my last two Valks. I tried dealing with one guy to get the price down to what I thought was more reasonable. He wasn't going to budge, well I guess you can just keep it then. I don't know what the problem is, sure these bikes are GREAT! and I would not ride anything else as long as I can ride but lets face it, this group is the only one that buys them and the parts parts. Come on guys, these bikes are not made of gold. If you want to sell it then price it to sell. Just my 2 cents worth for what that is worth. LOL! And by the way, I found an almost brand new VTX for my buddy that was a STEAL! And he just loves it.

I agree with WesternBiker, some of the bikes on here are way overpriced. I am personally looking for an I/S right now, but will not pay what they are asking. They might be worth that much to them, but if you check e-bay, Craigslist, Cycle Trader, etc., these bikes aren't bringing what some are wanting right now. I guess the seller doesn't have to sell their merchandise, but if they really want to, they will be more willing to negotiate.

I wouldn't sell my Valk for twice the price. However, I have a VTX 1300C I would like to move. I think most here are the same way. When they make another Valk style bike, I might think about selling her cheap but I doubt it.
