I'm having trouble with the tail light not working. Brake lights work fine but no tail light. It has a LED bulb . I checked the fuses and they check good and I checked for current across the fuse and the fuse clamps. And checked at the tail light bulb socket. I think it's the bulb but I want to replace with a regular bulb and want to know if anyone knows the GE or Sylvania replacement bulb number for the Honda OEM? I can't make the number out on the LED.

I can only tell you (unrelated to bulb types) that sometimes the tail light wiring in the rear fender gets a little loose, and then gets rubbed by the tire on bumps (shock compression).  It's hard to work in there with the tire on, but you can get a light and look up underneath.

Mine was very intermittent, so looking at the usual suspects of fuses and power was no help at all.

in the tail light, the low-filament puts in many more hours than the high-filament (brake light) so it gets used up quicker. Inspect the tail light bulb, and if both filaments are still intact, try replacing the tail light bulb temporarily with the front turnsignal's bulb (another 1157).

Best taillight replacement. I’ve had two on my last two Valks. Brightest taillight available.

Have one of those on my I/S.

Will eventually replace the Tourer's taillight with one, as part of changing over all its lights to LEDs.
