It's their new audible signaling system, it alerts commuters of your intention to signal.

I have a F6B and a 1800 Valkyire and there are opposite of each other for horn and blinkers and yes I do hit the horn when I want to turn.

Muscle memory was always supposed to be a good thing. That's funny right there.

Ours is not to question (Honda) why. We'd never get an answer anyways

Exactly right(wrong)?
They (1800) also pivoted the horn switch on the wrong end (outboard) Now you need more thumb on it to make the loud nose come out.
Why did they change it?

That's what they say about the golf swing too. Sure wish it was true.I only golfed a handful of times in my youth. I could drive and putt. But nothing in-between. So, what I did was use the driver all the way to the hole, shooting low line drives shorter, as the hole got closer. And the big driver head gave me my best chance and actually hitting the ball. This drew laughter.
