A few Valkyries are heading there for breakfast, so anybody available at this late notice would be a welcome sight.   cooldude  I'll be solo.

Well the food is still great there John so next time your down this way let's plan on it.  I know it was short notice but always worth a shot.  Bert stopped in for a quick hello before the feast.  cooldude
Rolling thru the Ocala Forest on 314 we came over a rise and there standing motionless for about 5 or 6 seconds was a BIG bear. I honestly thought it was a cutout sign at first because 1.it hadn't moved and 2. it was 5 feet tall at the back, and 3. it was standing just like on the bear signs. I slowed quickly once it moved and I wasn't sure if it was crossing or turning to run.  It came up with a mouth full of roadkill and calmly watched Thomas and I slide by on our stock Valkyrie exhausts but when my buddies V rod got close it must have bothered his ears and he turned into the woods.. V rods make good bear repellent.  We all stopped in Salt Springs to share that was the biggest bear we had all ever seen.

Glad you all had a good ride, and a good meal. Roxie and I rode to Bryson City, NC yesterday. We are dog sitting for Big Mike for a few days, and hoping to get in a couple of decent rides while they are gone, and after they return. Saturday we head South, and spend a couple of nights and a day with my younger son and his wife and the the Grand Kids. looking forward to a few more Valk gatherings, now that it has started to cool off a little. We will be attending the postponed "Tally Rally" next month.

WOW Sixlow !!!

That was definitely an interesting ride and I am sure it was a conversation topic during breakfast.
Only thing missing/better would be selfies with you and the bear  Evil

police A bear Oh my!! Glad you avoid a potential event with momma and her cubs. They do get aggressive and very protectiive.  police Sounds like a very neat place. Maybe get that way when i retire. It'd be a nice destination perhaps.  coolsmiley

I wish I would have known about this ride earlier.  I'm sure I would have enjoyed it better than my day at Daytona Biketoberfest.  Maybe another time.

Yes good food at the dam dinner lol and cool seeing that big bear. We decided to avoid Daytona and glad we did. Don't see big bears like that! Around here often. Was definitely way better than walking a bike down main street  Daytona Beach hahaha
