The TV report I saw said he had his lights and siren on when the school bus turned left in front of him.  What a sad and senseless waste.  Prayers to the family and friends.

The news last night said the motorcycle had been recalled due to a problem with tank mounts causing massive tank ruptures in accidents, but his bike hadn't had the service yet.

He may have survived without the fireball.
