We set out for the Mount Dora craft fair yesterday but plans changed after the two hour ride to get there. It was too crowded for my liking, people packed the streets, shoulder to shoulder. We decided to avoid the Covid factory, as there would be no clean restaurants or restrooms with the volume of people present. I don't do crowds. We found some estate sales and talked with some nice folks, (motorcycle riders) BMW folks, but really enjoyed the conversation. They are moving to Leesburg and have invited us to stay anytime...Leesburg bike fest!! then went to Little Lake Harris for lunch on the lake at JB Boondocks watching the skilled and unskilled boaters come and go while eating.

Spotted an intriguing road heading home and found a General store with some more fine folks to chat with, all in all a good day even with the altered plans.

I like old General Stores.
Me too, we hit them all. My favorite is near you, kind of touristy but cool, with the goats on the rooftop. Brings me back to a better time in this world...kind of relaxing.

Robert pullup the event calendar for Mt. Dora. I think best to plan it when there is NOT an event. Cool town with history in the Lakes area. Unless of course one of the events peeks your interest.

Well didn't get to Dora but went to Palm City and I must admit if you love fast food you need to go there. Every fast food restaurant you could imagine was there, but there was nothing to see, although I know that it has good fishing. What I didn't know till I went there was the space agency is there which was interesting.

The ride was great and went to Vero Beach by the water and that was great.

Robert, I've never been to Palm City, assuming it's near West Palm Beach?

We did ride this morning as well, rode the Gulf Coast and had a fantastic lunch at Frenchy's. The wife had Blackened Grouper Caeser salad and I had the Cracked Conch we split a She Crab Soup.
Amazing 75° perfect Florida morning.

I'm sorry guys, its actually December in some parts of the Country Smiley

You seriously need to stop posting these pictures or I will have to go out in the garage and convince the wing-ding it needs a friend.
