I have Widder heated gloves which have the controller that only switches on and off. The problem is that at 6 am, in the dark, for 20 miles to work, at 15 degrees, they just aren't warm enough. They are working fine and work when the temp is above 30. Is there some way to boost output on these things? I'd like a multi position switch setup for different levels but if this is a high as it gets, whats the point?

Get a "Lobster Claw" outer glove cover. They're water and wind proof. That should help hold the heat in. REI also has Gore Tex outer glove covers too.

The only way to "overdrive" a heating element is to increase voltage or shorten the element (a shortened element gives less resistance which increases current which creates more heat, in effect creating a short circuit).  The best way to keep your hands warmer other than getting higher wattage gloves is to insulate them better or protect them from the wind better.

You could try adding hand shields to keep the wind off of them. There are a couple of different companies that make them for the valk.
