Meddle came out a little over a month before I did, but I still "remember" it, being a major Pink Floyd fan until recently...

And two of our German Shepherds ran out of the room, the third, and usually most timid one came over to get a good look see at what that was...

One of 'em will do the same howling along thing if someone plays the harmonica...

I love dogs too, seems they appreciate all kinds of music Smiley Had a big white Husky/Wolf/Shepard cross about 45 years ago named Luke, who would always "sing" along on cue with my harmonica playing and my then very rudimentary guitar playing & singing. Would also go into full howl hearing train whistles.

This dog, Suka I believe was her name, came down from the owners cabin every evening when I pulled out the guitar at a remote fishing lake the Mrs and I were camping at a number of years ago and would settle in right at my feet and "sing" along while I played old Western tunes that had a bit of a yodel in them. Soon as I stopped playing she would get up and wander off.

My daughter had 2 dogs that would howl whenever we sang happy birthday. I never saw them do it any other time, doesn't mean it didn't happen, just that I never saw it.
