Sold my old XR500R a couple weekends ago. Had been looking
for a XR600R for years when I found the 500. Found this 1999
600 today on Marketplace owned by a 68 year old man.
He only rode it on gravel roads in the gated community he lived in.
I have never seen a baffle like it has in it and found out not to
upset his neighbors with the noise he put it in when he bought it new.
Said it had less than 300 miles on it and when I got there and
looked at it I believe it.
Don't need it but had to have it. It looks good between the Valks.
The kickstand was raised before we left the lot.

don't you just love it when a plan comes together.   cooldude

reminds me a few years ago when a suzuki burgmann 650cc was for sale for only 1900 bucks over 1 hour away just posted only 8000 miles mint shape old guy had it only drove few times with wife on back to door county wi is about it.  Wife reluctantly agreed for me to go see it and bought ASAP before someone else snatched it up now has 18K miles on it already.  I have been driving that more so than the VAlks now since easier to handle and more stretch out legroom positioning with more storage and still goes 90 mph easily if I so choose, just not as fast getting there as the VAlks.

Congratulations!  A 600 is a little heavy for what I, as a novice dirt rider, would want on the trails, but I could sure use that power climbing hills!
