I left South Carolina's Golden Triangle about 10:00 a.m. for Tellico
Plains Tennessee where I met Joe. The road from there leads to
within 45 minutes or so of the ground zero motel for Mac's Veterans Day
ride. The last little bit runs near I40 for a while but is a much
better road. My little camera was set to Video, so I turned it on. I
edited the result down to about 60 seconds...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruzNxG8SHEUI had the idea that I was going to ride hwy 70 into Nashville on
Saturday and visit Gruhn's guitar store. Instead I followed along
on a loop Joe had that brought us to an Amish store in Kentucky with
a lunch counter. This was way better than riding to Nashville...

Here's me supervising the kneeling contest...

There were many good roads along the way...

We went past Alvin C. York's house, an appropriate location for
Veteran's Day.

I can only say that I love love loved my heated gear this weekend.
Being out all these great places on a chilly weekend while luxuriating
within a toasty envelope of heat is truly having your cake and
eating it too. BTW: thanks for the cake Flask!
Sunday morning Mitch and Joe and I left together towards Crossville
Tennessee and I was hurtling home by myself down 68 towards Tellico
Plains before long. I had a great time, thanks everyone and thanks
to Mac for causing everything to come together!
