Bob Bondurant died Friday at the age of 88. Of note, he started his racing career on Indian motorcycles before moving to cars. He brought home a World Championship to America while driving for Carroll Shelby and winning the 24 hours of LeMans. He started his famous driving school which is still in operation today, in 1968.

I had the pleasure of meeting him, Mr and Mrs Shelby and Kenny Miles at the lodge in Watkins Glen when Mr Shelby brought me a set of pistons, camshaft. Great people.
