Bought my 1997 Yellow/Black Bumble Bee back in March,I’m in the UK the bike came from Colorado with 18,000 miles showing ( believe it’s genuine miles )Clutch slipped badly and it wouldn’t run properly.Supplying dealer fitted a complete new clutch and removed/cleaned/set up carburettors, clutch still slipped.A few members on here suggested it was a blocked hole in master cylinder and that’s what it was although dealer fitted new seals in the master cylinder as a precaution.Covered 1800 miles on it now and I love it,sounds awesome with the unbaffled Cobras,Valkyries not too common over here and bike gets lot of attention everywhere I go.Surprisingly fast for a big bike and it handles pretty good on our narrow bendy potholed roads and returns 23-34 mpg ( UK gallon ) on E10 fuel.I think my long time owned Harley Softail might be getting sold soon
That's pretty low mpg for a UK imperial gallon. Riders in the USA get about the same for 8/10ths of a UK gallon. A US gallon .
