I was reading Skindhead's post on bad smells. Good ol Wayne, aka Winghot has a little eatery in Cullman Alabama that many of us have visited. He also has a challenge wherein you have to finish off 10 of his firehouse hotwings. My wife Rhonda and I were gullable enough once to take up that challenge and got the T-shirt to prove it. That was the only thing I've ever ate that made my pee burn. Hot Hot stuff. Who else has tried and failed or finished Winghot's Hotwings? Raymond RHonda Winghot draggin pegs on the Dragon, Deal Gap. Get another bike soon please Wayne,

Dude, not only did Magoo do it on the way to Cheaha last year - HE THEN WON THE WING EATING CONTEST THAT NIGHT ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN!!!! Lord knows how many wings he ate in one day! Seriously, it must have been a record......... He must have been sweating in areas we don't even know we have pore spaces in. I know I had some Trinidad hot sauce in Africa and knew I may have made a mistake when I started sweating behind my ears - I didn't even know you could perspire behind your ears.....Magoo must have been sweating in areas besides his ears I reckon. I know we like it hot down south, but BOY HOWDY!! And the bucket was not to throw his bones in......

Got some of Buffalo Wild Wings hottest. Ate 10 without a drink, just cause my wife said I couldn't do it. Really love the Habenero Honey. Better flavor.

you know....i've eaten several of them....BUT NEVER TEN. I'm not so sure i could do 10.....and i'm not so sure i'm willing to try? as for the burn, i understand Carl/Willow is quite knowledgable on the HANDLING of the wings......and proper sanitation efforts that SHOULD follow....and the handling of OTHER THINGS...after handling said wings....and lacking proper sanitation measures.....and etc, etc......... Me, i'll stick with eating Wayne's deep fried twinkies! and no matter what, NEVER, EVER DRINK......one of Wayne's hot sauce contest samples.....unless you're Lady Draco or Moonshine. They might be able to handle it? All others, heed the warning....you may need Emergency Room assistance and an ambulance ride down Cheaha Mountain. DON'T ASK ME HOW I KNOW..........

I haven't, and I will not. I'm too much of a pansy to eat hot stuff like that. I got that shirt, but thats only because I bribed Wayne. My friends from Kansas though, are tough as nails. The three of them shared a hotel room that night. A hazmat crew was involved in the incident. -Scott

I can't eat 10 wings period anymore, but I have managed to eat one of Wayne's Downtown Fire wings and that was painful enough!! I have seen several try. Some made it with much pain involved and some scarfed them down like it was nothing. I took a friend of mine in there for lunch one day and had been talking up the challenge. He is from Puerto Rico and apparently used to hot food. I cost Wayne a T-shirt because he wasn't even phased by them. He did admit later that not just any average Joe would be able to eat them. All I can say is cast iron gut and more!!
