I'm planning on heading out from Motown.  I also plan to make an extended trip out of it.  I believe Roger was looking to get a  group together to ride out, so we all need to rough out our plans and see what works.  I was also hoping to hit Glacier and WA state among others.  Let's keep the communication going.

I have been talking with Joe and some of the Kool Kids.  Trying to put together a ride that will meet up somewhere here in Ohio or Indinaner.  Probably swing out through WI & MN to the Dakotas and then west.  I am going to extend a couple of weeks also.  Do some of the west again and probably head down to my son's in AZ for a while.
Stay tuned.

It's a possibility, I too plan to not return directly assuming both me and/or the trike aren't sick. Wink Would actually like to head up into Canada afterward assuming I can get a passport in time.  cooldude

My hope at this time is to be pulling out of N.E. Ohio Friday Morning/ early afternoon. Way too many variables to make any definite plans at this point.

I'm putting together a ride from the mid-Atlantic area (I'm coming from Raleigh). We'll have a half-dozen riders without much effort and figure we can pick up people along the way. While we'll be starting a bit further south then you guys, we may be able to meet up as we get further north in the trip.

Maybe by the time I get past Ohio will be able to meet some riders for the trip to Billings

Figure I should make indiana the first day and hope to take 20 thru Nebraska again  WIll have to cancel my 1st night reservation as not worth pushing it

I'm hoping to go to InZane this year, I will know next week if it's possible. it is a bit over 2000 miles for me from Philadelphia, Pa. I'm looking into options to meetup with other riders, always better to travel with others on long trips, even better it they are riding Valkyries.

Here's my (somewhat) final route. No Interstates on the way out. Not trying to set any records. This is my first long trip so I'm trying to be reasonable with distances per day. I'm also meeting up with my dad (who is coming from Pittsburgh) in Joliet, IL night of day 2 if anyone that's coming from other areas want to meet then. See map attached.
