My wife's car needed tires, so we finally stopped putting it off and went to get her tires for the Volvo on Saturday morning. The tire shop I use is fast and reasonable. On the way back to the motorcycle my wife wanted to stop at K Mart and peruse a little bit. She needs a few new tops for work during the spring.

When we finally got home I wanted to change the water in my Valk and give my wife a ride.  It was 77 degrees.  I wanted to ride.

I had picked up the offical Honda water in the past.  I had gotten enough for my Dad's Goldwing and my Valk.  Apparently Dad has been hitting the Honda water pretty hard because there was not enough left to do my bike. Had to go to a Honda shop to pick up more.

My wife hopped on the back, it was her first ride of the season.

I did not ride to the closest Honda shop.  I did not head in any sort of straight line to the Honda shop.  I think I passed one on the way to the one that I picked. When I got there, they were closed.  They must still be on winter hours.  On to choice 2 Honda shop.  They had the offical Honda water in sight. The woman behind the counter offered me a box to carry it in, but I had saddle bags, so we loaded up and headed home.

We didn't head in a straight line at all on the way home either.

100 miles in the sunshine. 77 degrees or so.

We did finally get home and I changed the water in the Valk before leaving to see the Watchmen last night.  A good day.  And today, Sunday, a ride with friends at 11:00. Nice weekend.
