It's because Google keeps all your searches and tailors them to what you look at on the internet. Google says that they don't get specific information, but I saw a documentary that suggests that they know more than you think. Here is a link to a site that I have been using to do all my searches. It is called Scroogle and strips off all the cookies and other information that Google normally gets. It actually uses Google to do the actual search, and gets you the same results you would have gotten anyway. Read the story on the home page about the guy coming back from a trip to Mexico. Very interesting.
