Its funny how time just keeps going on and little by little we grow older.

My son came in from Virginia with his girlfriend last Saturday afternoon and left 7am yesterday morning to get back to Virginia to spend Christmas day with his girlfriend’s family.

My youngest came home Wednesday afternoon from college so we were 5 (+1) for just 2 1/2 days.

Christmas Day for us was the 24th, then over to my brother’s for regular Christmas Eve with everyone.

Watching him drive away 7:10am Christmas morning was quite difficult but life moves on and waits for no man.

My 2 girls are home so we’ll be 4 for awhile until the youngest goes back for her final semester and we gear up for graduation in May.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas Day and Santa got all the wish list stuff handled correctly.

You are blessed to be able to see all your family even if briefly.  Then to have family and friends to spend Christmas Eve with.   We had a good one to.   Spent all day Christmas Day with my two sons and their families.   Its really good to see them all and hear whats going on in their lives.    Then they were off to their individual lives.  And yes….time waits on no one.

We try to celebrate Christmas all year long. Except for the youngsters we don’t even exchange gifts as we all seem to enjoy everything one could want and when a new want comes along we seldom wait for the official Christmas Day. I had my immediate family with me this weekend and that was special since it included my mother who still enjoys good health mentally and physically and she got to see her great grandkids.

We were surprised on Thursday afternoon when our Kids  (daughter/hubby/son) popped in From Southern CA.   They came for Christmas with us.   So with the daughter/hubby/two sons who live here in town, We had 9 folks for Christmas eve and Christmas day meals.  Real surprise and enjoyed having them.

The CA kids just left heading north towards Bend, OR for ski vacation in a Snowstorm.

AH to be young and foolish again.   2funny
