2014 Valkyrie 1800

Seminole, Florida

We rode to Molly Goodheads today, located in Ozona...the "Old Florida" with large oaks, tons of shade, boat ramps, fishing, Marinas, one block walk thru old Florida History. http://www.mollygoodheads.com/ The food is above average, and the prices seem to be a bit below average. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Every time I've been here, I've seen bikes dumped in the parking lot so bring a kickstand pad if you plan on going. I park in the front with a pad in the deep mulch. The sides and back lots are crushed shell/stone and the overflow lot across the street is crushed stone/shell. We were entering and I said to Andrea, "Thats an accident looking for a place to happen" refering to three Harley Davidsons heavilly blinged and all shiney with goreous paintjobs all parked nose in on the stone/shell on an incline. By the time our drinks arrived there was a commotion out front. The full dresser with the custom paint was down with the XXL rider and his XXXL passenger. Looks as though his feet slid out from under him on the parking lot. Gosh I felt bad for him, beautiful bike on stone has to leave a mark, not to mention embarrassing. :'(

A new Brewery directly across the street, not open yet. Ozona Pig BBQ also across the street. Really cool place to visit.

Ozona Village Hall Building one block away walking towards the Marina.

Looks like a cool place to visit. I had to look it up as I'd not heard of it before.

Thanks for the pics Doug.  Never heard of it either.  But then again I lived in Florida many years before I knew there was a Parrish Florida and that is my last name.  Turns out the original family that founded the town was related.

Some years ago Rita and I drove through there and saw some of the local history but never stopped. We made a plan to come back and check the area out on foot some day. That day never came. Glad to see you and Andrea did it for us.  Wink
