I got the trunk back from the painter, Got it put back together and mounted it on the bike. Oh and Joe its not done yet, waiting on the front fender plus some custom work on the trunk. I have search and not found any Valkyries the same color that i am doing. Still has a way to go, but i am having fun doing the bike up the way i want it. I might have to sell something to pay for all of this, lots of money for all the parts and paint. But i think its worth every penny. Will show more pics Later. This is what it looked like last year when i started.    This is now.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Just checked the picture again that is the exact opposite of what I had...My saddlebags was black and my trunk was red/black.

I have always liked your set up Joe, thats why i did mine. The Valkyrie is special and will stay in the family as long as i can ride. Everytime i ride this bike i fall in love all over again. I was just going to put the hard bags on, but then i found this trunk and it was very easy to make me keep going. I have the other bike that i ride and they both have a feeling of their own. The Valkyrie is more than a Motorcycle, its like you bond with it and you become one. No other bike has ever done that for me.
