Found this today, so if you’re passing by or near the area and have an interest and some time there’s 8 dates for a 1 hour lecture beginning January 8th and ending May 14th.

https://www.nj.com/cumberland/2022/01/military-air-museum-wwii-lectures-ready-for-takeoff.html

“The Millville Army Air Field Museum will present a free eight-part lecture series on World War II from Jan. 8 to May 14, focusing on the European Theater of Operations and highlighting less frequently covered topics of the war.”

“The talks will be led by local amateur WWII historian Ralph H. Thomas, author of ”WWII: 50 Objects That Helped Win the War and the Companies That Made Them.” Sessions will take place 2 to 3 p.m. Saturdays in the Henry E. Wyble Historic Research Library and Education Center on the museum campus at the Millville Airport, 23 Peterson St., in Millville.”

Here’s the website for the Air field;

Thanks for that post

At the Cape May Naval Air Station there is a small museum

I got to tour it before and after flying on the B17 and walked or more accurately crawled thru the aircraft during that amazing flight with my brother

Sadly it crashed up in Connecticut the next month

Collings foundation and their american heritage museum has lot of great stuff

I will be giving my brother a shot at driving a Sherman tank this spring up in Massachusetts while I ride inside   Love living history !

I'd like a ride in an Abrams, but I'm not crawling into a Sherman (though I'd sit up in an open commander's seat with my head and shoulders out).  Claustrophobia is a thing.
