I don't understand your question.  Are you asking why replies are not allowed or why people don't reply when you contact them?   crazy2

We have this issue over on HSN. Plenty things available but most younger folk come into the community care about us helping them "bob" their rides and free technical advice then bugger away. When VRCC and HSN came online most of us folk have a half of a brain and enjoyed the spirit of the brotherhood. As for here, I just don't need anything as my ride was a pretty cherry garage queen that got ridden often enough to stay fresh so to speak. I was able to transfer all my Kuryakyn accessories to the Valk thus we be good but I do surf it occasionally but I do see a lot of folk come here to just sell parts judging by their post counts.

 Carl , I respond to a for sale ad. Most times I do not receive a reply. I put items for sale and reply to the "want" in the classifieds. Out of 13 people I contacted , I received only two replies.  I understand there are others selling.  I guess I am just venting.  No one owes me a reply. 
 I will continue to buy and sell.

I'm still a bit unclear.  You use the term respond but do you email or personal message?

I can't manage them but you're correct a lot of Classified posters simply ignore emails after they've received the one response they needed.  Some don't know how to deal with personal messages.  Some, yes, to simply register because they believe they will get best price here for what they are selling.

Yes.  The board used to also email PMs but our email from the board hasn't been working for a long time.
