I have read dozens of rear suspension posts here  and have decided to try the 11.5" 412.. I want to lower the Valk a bit due to age and an accident. I ride solo, no bags, don't ride long distances, very aggressively, so believe these would work fine.
What I'm wanting is Progressive 412's standard spring, all black. I have tried to get the part number but  Progressive and dealers say it doesn't fit my application blah, blah. I'm guessing liability concerns? I don't think anyone on the board had any problems mounting or using these?
     Part number or comments?  Thanks

No responses, but I guess the shock topic has been beat to death.  I was just trying to confirm the exact part number, as it would be shipped to Canada and didn't want to have to deal with returns $$. It looked like each  412 would cost about $500.00 due to our terrible exchange rate and shipping. So I'm putting that on hold for now.

Well I found the exact size (inches) stock from their listing but I would look into Burly brand. Last I heard they are very helpful. I didn't have any good luck with Progressive 412's. Very harsh ride and leaked oil within 3 months.
