It will be starting Saturday morning before 8am here.... Predictions of 12 to 20 inches with winds of 30 to 50 mph out of the NNE... Will be ending after midnight Saturday night... Temps low enough, the snow will be dry and not heavy like concrete !!

Friday Morning Forecast Update: All of eastern Massachusetts, i.e., communities within I-495 and the south shore are now forecast to get 18 to 24 inches of dry-fluffy snow, with winds 30 to 50 miles an hour. It's forecast to start by about 3 AM on Saturday morning and finish about midnight. Holy crap, it's a Big One! We're all ready. We've got plenty of gas for our snowblower. And we're fully stocked with food and drink. As long as we don't lose power and our internet connection, we'll be able to sit back and enjoy watching the storm. Sunday will be a busy day of clean up.

I wouldn't be surprised! You're located in the jackpot zone and could get around 2 feet of snow. Please be careful.

Snowblower and generator are both filled, and have 15 gallons of gas in cans just waiting. Hopefully we won't need to fire the generator up.... Plenty of food and booze on shelves and in the fridge.... Looks like there is no escaping this one coming our way.....

We got another 4" overnight and it's snowing to beat the band right now. (zip 15437)
Cleaning off the vehicles is getting old, but at least we had a hiatus and most of the 18" we got last week has melted.

Hasn't started here yet... Maybe it was a hocus-pocus scare tactic started by snowblower manufacturers !!

Went out last night to size things up,couldn"t really get a good meashurment because of all the drifting. Some drifts were over the front of the snowblower and at the road where the snowblowers plowed it was 3 ft. high.I worked on the snow for 2 1/2 hours and the rest will be done this a m.It could be 51 degrees by mid week, that's new england for ya.

Just finished up with the snow removal.... Not as bad as I had planned on it being. We have anywhere between 1 ft and 3 ft, depending on where you stand. I'd guess we have closer to 2 ft than 1 ft of actual snow fall.

We got an average of 14 inches of snow. Glad it wasn't heavy. All cleaned up. Looking forward to a relaxing afternoon.
