Ok, So I'm viewing new messages since my last visit and start to read a thread.  I want to make a comment and there is no reply tab at the top.  Hmmmm,, go to another thread and there sits the reply tab?
  This computer thing has an old man confused!

I believe the Reply button goes away when the thread is locked.

Have you changed the background colors in your profile?

If so, some colors do not show all the various colors...... which makes some of the buttons non visible.........
